What I’m about
Bitcoin / home mining
I was mining back in 2014 with hardware most people today haven’t even heard of. These days I focus on the home-mining side of Bitcoin: Bitaxe, NerdQaxe, Zyber, solo mining, pools, and hardware notes. The Bitaxe project made home mining fun again, and that’s a big part of why this site exists.
Mining history, pools, and hardware
A lot of what I write is big-picture: how mining evolved, how pools actually work, why trust matters, and what people should understand before they point hardware somewhere. Some of it is technical, some of it is opinion, but it all comes from being around this space for a long time.
Sports
I’m a big sports guy. Celtics, Patriots, and Bruins for life, UFC is appointment viewing, and sports show up here and there because that’s just part of who I am.
Dad life
I’m a dad, and I’m a basketball dad in particular. Real life comes first, so the site is built to keep things simple and easy to reference.
Off the screen
When I’m not behind a keyboard, I’m usually chasing winter or water. Avid skier, avid water skier, and all around life enjoyer.
Bruiser
Bruiser is my bulldog. He shows up in the content because he’s always around, and because the internet deserves more bulldog nonsense.
